Yes, actually, it’s not easy.
I've been having a hell of a time sleeping lately. I'm not sure what it is but I plan on a short vacation soon so that should fix that. Anyway, the reason for this post is because of a discussion I had revolving around some non-work work that I've been working on. It seems that there are some problems with some of the way the code has been structured. The most ideal way to restructure it would involve an arduous amount of work and not be easy. A statement was made along the lines of it "not being easy". I notice it's an attitude that seems to be prevalent as it was the second time in a span of minutes the phrase was said. The simple fact is that it's never easy, never. If it's that easy to do, then you aren't doing anything interesting or solving any new problems. "If we are going to change the world, it's not going to be easy". I have a draft here called "The Myth that Content Management is easy" that will be out; sometime in the future as I've been insanely busy. If I post here i'll make it a couple of pages instead of a post, if anyone thinks it's an interesting title/topic and wants to publish it let me know, or steal the pages when they are up (couple weeks). This applies to anything though, the general rule is as follows. Whatever it is, it's never easy, it's always hard.
