Old and Busted Blackberry 8800

Yeah.. Old and Busted BlackBerry 8800, retired.. Or, rather.. Given away to the young lady holding it. Actually I had no reason to upgrade the BlackBerry except for the fact that I kept losing the scrollie in the middle. Which turns out to be pretty much a requirement if you are going to use the phone. This kept happening and eventually it happened at the wrong time. So much so that my anger resulted in me purchasing the Iphone.

 

The New Hotness

Pretty cool.. Yet another Apple product purchased by a Unix/Opensource zealot. Not only am I extremely impressed with it but the development kit for it is nice as well. That aside lets take a look at what I lovingly refer to as the "Batphone". This is the phone I used to use when the Batman signal goes off the sky and it needs to be encrypted and safe.  It's retired but I still like it..  All red, sexy.. mmmmm

 

Sasha is like 4 this year.. She's growing into such a beautiful young lady

Sash is growing up, she hasn't been a pup for a while but this pic just reminds me of when she was a pup waddling around the place. When she hangs out with me I try to train her to kill.. She's pretty lethal against small stuffed animals, even ones bigger than her she can pretty much destroy. Also, when people say that they give their dog stuff and it goes missing I never believed it. When she's around I notice my socks go missing, so I believe it now. Think i'm coming down with a cold.. it's the type of cold that you think you have and know you have but still are in denial. Even though you can barely breathe..

RANDOMNESS.. My license is suspended.. For a month, starting 12/22.. I was angry about it at first and wanted to fight but then realized I haven't driven my car for fun in a while anyway. Probably because I can't drive at more reasonable speeds above 30 miles an hour. Which just means I use it for transportation. There's not too many places I want to manually transport myself, I can just call a driver for that or cab or subway or bus.. or whatever. I don't care too much anyway.. I got track time next year.

I'm thinking about maybe going to do this Phd program.. maybe my masters part time first.. I gotta figure out how to pay for the first couple semesters until I can get a scholarship. Someone recently talked to me about joining the FBI. I found that funny and didn't even entertain the thought; I can't believe I was even recommended.. I'd never ever work for the FBI for any amount of perks or money; EVER. I'm hoping the decision to stay at Nymedia is the right one anyway.. It's like i'm getting pissed off easily lately. Normal shit i'd just let go i'm not letting go anymore. I'm not gonna be lead into Iraq looking for weapons of mass destruction when I know none fucking exist. Fuck that. I've got to at least see something fruitful though, something tangible..

Everyone keeps asking if i'm holding the annual New Year's Party or a Christmas Party this year. I don't know.. The Recession Party (Originally I was gonna have naked models in the corner highlighted by colored lights as decoration but I'm getting older so it was a fleeting lingering thought) I was leaving the pool hall and believe it or not a bunch of cops where hanging around my car, they were cool. That was a sidenote.. but anyway, Ron one of my teammates said that if he's not around his family and is on the road.. he is on the road the entire year. It was said as commentary but I found it poignant. I feel like I work too much and don't spend time with my family and friends enough and for what? If I do hold the party I wanna keep it down to 20-30 ppl.

A couple of people hit me up about the Varnish/Plone stuff.. soon as I get back to work i'll release the info for that. Haven't been to the range in a while, the applejollyrancher project book is in reset.. The copy of the book I got really sucks quality wise.. I can't give that shit away.. I was so pissed. Anyway i'm hoping to find a place that will do good books quality wise and still give me some room for customization. Not easy at all.

Went Snowboarding, i'm pretty bad at snowboarding but it was my first time. Ski'ing I can do. Snowboarding is different.. It feels faster than ski'n though so I like that..

Tahlia just interrupted my randomness with an instant message "y r u still up".. RANDOMNESS It's Friday.. 2:14am.. I bet the FDR is empty right now.  There's more I wanted to say.. 808's and Heartbreak.. love it.. Common should of kept the title of the album Invincible Summer. It taste and feels like that.. Damn there's much more I wanted to say but that im convo killed my RANDOMNESS.. Till next time.
