Been a little busy with this thing called life; barring that we have some minor updates. I'm now officially with the Institute for the Study of the Ancient World at New York University. Actually i've been here for almost a month now. As to what I am doing I will talk about that in upcoming entries. I'm currently struggling to find time and my weekends are mostly strictly devoted to one of the most beautiful girls in the world, so things are as tight as they can get. Throw in that i'm trying to prepare for the GRE so I can pursue my PhD and we are now ABC vacuum sealed. Anyway, it is needless to say that what I am doing revolves around content/digital asset management and applying semantic technology. My updates are already in-frequent and I fear they will become more-so but hopefully when I get a chance they'll be chock full of informative data. It wouldn't be fun without some useful digression as well.
I should also take this opportunity to update on the AT&T situation and my iPhone. After my firm and in my case needed commentary. I was contacted by AT&T who promptly took to fixing the issue. The culprit was the sim card in my iPhone. I didn't go into detail and ask questions as to why the sim card in the iPhone would stop working or if it was short listed in some form of secret meeting or anything to that affect. However, the customer service was great and not the norm for AT&T. It was quite an expedient conversation and repair. It's rather unfortunate that it took such hostility to have something as simple as a sim card replacement performed and I hope not-the-norm becomes "this is why I am a AT&T customer" for most people.
Last year around this time I had my snowday partner. Unfortunately; we lost her January 16 to a uterine infection. My sister called me the night before and I raced over. Sasha was looking really bad; but I suspected she just had the dog flu. Early the next morning my sister rushed her to the vet because she still was just lying in pain. Later that afternoon; after an attempt at excise of the uterus the infection had spread too far and we had to say goodbye. I then adhered to my sisters wishes and buried my snowday partner in the backyard of my parents house. I'm really gonna miss her, until we meet again.
