Googles Profile module is just buggy

There's no other way to say it but Google's Profile module has to be about the most absolute buggiest thing I've seen from Google as an organization, ever. It simply is not even near beta far less ready for any form of release at all. Whether it be the photo import not working for valid rss feeds or allowing repeated additions of the same exact contacts, with the same exact information in an endless loop. Or not properly counting followers via Buzz and Google Reader and sometimes updating randomly on followers.

It's a really shoddy shoddy implementation and i'm sure i'll find more issues as I continue to try and use it. That said in comparison to other things this whole module needs an overhaul. In regards to the photo import of valid rss feeds not working. I pulled down a Picasa feed, a Flickr Feed and a SmugMug feed. The Picasa and Smugmug feeds are nearly identical with the Flickr Feed being devout RSS. Turns out, the Flickr feed doesn't work either if you give it a direct link to a feed. If you use the Flickr module in profiles to add photos it works. Same for Picasa; it doesn't work unless you use the Picasa module. So the entire Atom/RSS feed for photos functionality doesn't work for anything at all! If someone has a feed that this works with please contact me so I can see what the markup looks like. I'm not sure why this is exactly irking me all for a tiny display of thumbnail images of my photos but it is. I'm too far deep into this rabbit hole now.
